About Added Touch
Our motto is that the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the “Added Touch” we put into our events. This mission is twofold — to provide healthy, delicious, and beautifully presented food, and to leave our clients feeling that their event and our service has exceeded their wildest expectations. We are a boutique catering company in that we do not offer standard or set menus, but instead create custom menus based on each client’s unique tastes and wishes. When we meet with a client, we endeavor to discover what their personal style is, we work to ensure that we stay within their budget, and we brainstorm about how we can present their menu in the most memorable way possible. It’s Added Touch’s attention to detail that allows our clients to be guests at their own party, which we feel is the ultimate goal of customer service. It is from these beliefs that our founder, Sandra Bank, created Added Touch Catering & A Kosher Touch, to offer a bespoke catering experience for Atlanta events.
Added Touch Catering was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1993 by Sandra & Clive Bank, and since then has grown into a full service catering company with a full-time staff of fourteen. Over the past 26 years, Added Touch has developed from a home based business into a 9,500 square foot renovated facility in Sandy Springs, Georgia which includes a full commercial kitchen with pastry kitchen, cold rooms, warehouse, and offices. In 2012, Added Touch Catering expanded even further, opening a full-service Kosher catering branch — A Kosher Touch, Inc. — which is certified under the Atlanta Kashruth Commission. A Kosher Touch is located in the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta in Dunwoody, Georgia and boasts separate dairy and meat kitchens, A Healthy Touch Café, and a satellite office for our full-time kosher supervisor.

I asked my daughter, Amy Ackerman, for your contact information so I could write to you directly. Rarely am I at a loss for words, but I can’t fully express how “wowed” I was by the wedding dinner you created for her and Michael. The presentations were gorgeous, and the food was scrumptious.

I’ve had 5-star meals in my life, but this was off-the-charts — at least eight on a scale of one-to-five! The meal was memorable in so many ways. Just a few examples: I wished I could lick the sauce of my ravioli plate; the Meyer lemon sorbet was pretty as a picture; the sea bass was In a class of its own. Several guests said it was the best meal they could remember and far-surpassed any catered event. I whole-heartedly agree.
