The Added Touch Tasting Experience
Added Touch has built its reputation as one of Atlanta’s most trusted luxury caterers, known for chef-driven cuisine, thoughtful hospitality, and consistent excellence across hundreds of events.

Because every menu we create is custom designed for each occasion, producing a truly reflective tasting can require nearly the same level of culinary preparation, ingredients, and attention to detail that go into the event itself. As our calendar has grown, we have structured our tasting program to ensure our culinary team focused on executing our clients’ events at the highest level for what matters most: delivering exceptional experiences for our clients on the day of their celebration.

Many of our clients choose Added Touch based on our reputation and event portfolio, while others have experienced Added Touch at other celebrations and feel confident moving directly into the planning process without a tasting.
For this reason, our tasting policy is as follows:
Event Minimum
Private tastings are available only for confirmed events with a signed contract and deposit and a catering investment of $25,000 or greater.

Events below this threshold may still schedule a private tasting for weddings only, as outlined below.
Wedding Clients
We understand that weddings are deeply personal celebrations, and many couples value the opportunity to experience elements of their menu during the planning process.

For wedding clients whose event meets the $25,000 catering investment minimum, a private tasting may be scheduled once the contract and deposit are in place.

For weddings below the minimum, a private tasting may still be arranged after contract and deposit for a $1,500 tasting fee for up to six (6) guests. This fee is not applied toward the event balance.

Tastings are not available for weddings with a catering investment under $15,000.
Bar & Bat Mitzvah Clients
For mitzvah celebrations, tastings are generally available to new Added Touch families whose event meets the $25,000 catering investment minimum.

For families who have previously celebrated with us, we typically move directly from menu planning to event execution, as they are already familiar with our cuisine and service style.

However, if there is a specific menu element, concept, or culinary question that would benefit from tasting, we are always happy to consider arranging a focused tasting to address that need.

As a courtesy, clients whose event meets the catering minimum and who are comfortable forgoing a tasting will receive a $500 credit toward their event balance.
Other Events
For celebrations other than weddings, tastings are not available for events below the $25,000 catering investment minimum.
Pre-Contract Tastings
While tastings are typically scheduled after a contract and deposit are in place, we understand that some clients may wish to experience our cuisine before confirming their event.

For this reason, we offer a private pre-contract tasting experience for clients for a fee of $2,000+ (depending on the menu) for up to six (6) guests. Similar to earnest money when purchasing a home, the tasting fee reflects a shared commitment to the planning process.

Should you decide to move forward with Added Touch, the full tasting fee will be applied toward your event balance, provided the event meets the $25,000 catering investment minimum.
Purpose of
a Tasting
We view tastings as a culinary “dress rehearsal” — an opportunity for clients to experience and refine the specific menu that will be served at their celebration.

Each tasting features a curated selection of dishes from the planned menu rather than every item proposed.
During the tasting, we refine the details together — adjusting seasoning, fine-tuning portions or presentation, and making any small enhancements needed to ensure you love every element being served
Scheduling
We recommend scheduling the tasting about 6–8 weeks before the event, when the menu is largely finalized and other elements of the celebration — such as décor, timeline, and service style — are typically in their final stages of planning. Scheduling the tasting close to the event ensures any notes or refinements made during the tasting remain fresh in our chefs’ minds on the day of the celebration.

Because we host a limited number of tastings each month, all tastings are subject to scheduling availability and cannot be guaranteed. To align with our chefs’ production schedule, tastings are typically held during our designated tasting window on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM.
